Train your Mind to Help your Body
The correlation between mind and body knows no limits. The person with physical symptoms usually has an underlying emotional symptom which once cleared up is more than likely to cause the physical symptom to disappear.
In this age of quick fixes, most folk stretch for a pill, they see their doctor to be fixed. The power of fixing lies within you. It may be that you need some help to access the hidden and secret feeling - it's likely to have been there for a while. The physical symptom could even be serving you well - it may stop you owning up to what the real problem is.
Time is often used an excuse for not attending to your core health issues. The longer you put it off, the higher your premium will be. Time to look after yourself is fundamental to each and everyone of us - what can you do to make the space in your diary.
What are you denying?
Perhaps you aren't sleeping well?
Headaches on a regular basis?
Digestive problems?
Craving for sweets?
Irrational emotional outbursts?
Sore throats, sore ears, sore teeth?
I'm going to ask you to stop and listen to your body, look at it, and be honest with yourself - do you actually think about it? Do you actually think that it might be telling you to slow down, stop and give it a break for a while.
It might be trying to fight off an infection, to cope with the emotions which you aren't letting out. It needs time to heal and space in which to do that. It needs understanding and gentleness. It cannot keep going relentlessly.
Keeping busy during an emotionally upsetting period is one way of dealing with the emotions - it is the one which is least likely to get you through unscarred however.
How many red lights are there on your body's dashboard? The next light may not be intermittent and may stop you completely in your tracks. Take some action today to help yourself.
